Republican Ex-Judge Calls For Trump To Be ‘Impeached And Removed With All Haste’ (VIDEO)

As chaos continues to swirl around Donald Trump’s presidency, the word “impeachment” has begun to come up more and more often. Mark Painter, a former judge for the Ohio Court of Appeals, is just one more voice calling for impeachment of the Donald. In fact, Painter personally offered his services to help his congressman, Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), draft the articles of impeachment.

In a column for Cincinnati.com, Painter outlines the problems he has seen in the current GOP and Chabot’s inaction against the multitude of “dazzlingly illegal” things President Trump has already done:

“The leader of the band of Mad Hatters occupying the White House has already insulted allied world leaders, issued illegal and badly written orders, impugned a ‘so-called’ judge appointed by his own party, and appointed the least-qualified cabinet ever. The first secretary of state was Thomas Jefferson. Trump appointed a big-oil executive with close ties to Russia. The first treasury secretary was Alexander Hamilton. Trump appointed a former Goldman Sachs exec who got rich foreclosing on homeowners. The national security advisor lasted 24 days.”

Painter goes on to state that he is a lifelong Republican who has voted for every Republican candidate up until 2004. He admits, however, that the Republican party he once knew has become unrecognizable. He has watched it shift to “wherever Trump is,” which he calls “in another universe.”

His closing remarks are a call to arms. Painter tells Chabot to “man up” and begin drafting the articles of impeachment for Trump:

“As I remember, he did it for Clinton for far less than Trump has already done… All the above bothers me and should appall all Americans. We must admit we have elected a president who has immediately proved himself to be a grifter, a pathological liar, a mean-spirited bully and dangerous to American values. This not-ready-for-prime-time show is too dangerous to continue. America is at stake. If you need help drafting those articles of impeachment, Steve, I am available.”
