WATCH Chris Wallace Set The ‘Fox & Friends’ Gang Straight On The Firing Of James Comey

According to Fox News, all the attention to the firing of FBI Director James Comey by illegitimate head of state Donald Trump is overblown and borders on “hysteria.”

Such was the topic of discussion on Fox & Friends Sunday morning, complete with a BIG on-screen headline which read:

“MAINSTREAM MEDIA MELTDOWN: LIBERAL PRESS IN HYSTERICS OVER COMEY FIRING.”

Co-host Pete Hegseth began by announcing:

“It’s been about Russian collusion from the beginning. His critics have tried to make him look not legitimate. And five days after the firing of Comey, the media is still chomping at the bit with hysteria.”

But guest Chris Wallace quickly let the airheads on Fox & Friends know that he wasn’t there to parrot the company line, informing them:

“But I do take exception to the idea that this is hysteria. There are some cases there that I shake my head and think that’s over the top. Yes. This is a big story. The fact that we’re continuing to talk about it a week later.

“This is the first time in history that a president has fired an FBI director who was conducting an investigation that was directly investigating him and his associates. It’s a big story and I think it’s a legitimate story to cover.”

It most certainly is legitimate to cover a story which involves the president, the attorney general, and the man who was once leading the investigation of Russian tampering with the 2016 election and what role Trump or others in the administration may have played in cooperating with agents working directly for Russian president/terrorist/mass murderer Vladimir Putin, who would love nothing more than to destabilize the United States via a compliant White House.

Hysteria? I’m willing to bet that had the same thing happened and the person suspected was Hillary Clinton, Republicans would already be calling for her to be impeached. Their hypocrisy on everything involving the potentially criminal actions of Donald Trump will be noted both by history and by the American electorate come the 2018 midterm election.
