In case you missed it, Wednesday night marked the debut of Tomi Lahren as a Fox News contributor. She appeared on Hannity, and it didn’t take her long to let one hell of a cat out of the bag.
Believe it or not, Lahren finally disclosed what we’ve all kinda suspected about Fox News for years now: They continue to bring up the whole Hillary Clinton email matter as a distraction from the Trump-Russia story.
Sound impossible to believe? Listen to what Lahren said:
“How about we make a deal. How about when the mainstream media stops covering Russia day in and day out, maybe we can drop the Hillary email scandal. But until then, I think I’m going to stay on it.”
That’s about as quid pro quo as it gets. But what Lahren neglects to mention is that there’s a special counsel investigating President Trump. Clinton was cleared on the emails months ago. But hey, Fox and the right-wingers have to find something they can use to rile up their most ignorant acolytes, and so they’re still harping on emails.
Plenty of commentary was engendered on social media by Lahren’s admission. And you have to wonder if Tomi’s gig at Fox may be even shorter than the one she had with Glenn Beck at The Blaze:
tfw you accidentally admit the your employer is fake news on your first day at work https://t.co/bttj4ECXvH

y'all have been beating the hillary email drums since before Russia was even a thing, but ok.

"If you guys stopped talking about this very relevant, still developing story, then we'll stop beating the dead horse. GAW!"

So, you're admitting that your coverage of the nothing burger Clinton email story is just because everyone else is covering #TrumpRussia.

Dude, dude. Trump is POTUS. Makes no sense to obsess over Clinton. Also, broadcast journalists don't say "crap". Fake some professionalism.

So she is admitting that Fox is not a news organization but a propaganda outlet. Cool.

Next week, I fully expect Tomi Lahren to reveal she doesn’t have a brain. Then again, we always suspected that, too, didn’t we?
