Mike Pence decided to show up for an NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers when some of the players knelt during the national anthem. Didn’t Pence know the protests were a possibility before he even showed up? Does that perhaps suggest that the Veep was trying to curry favor with his boss?
It also seems strange that Pence would go to a game when Trump has called for an outright boycott of all professional football games until anthem protests end. Did Pence not get that memo, or might he have been sent at the behest of Trump?
After leaving, Pence made sure and posted this on Twitter, no doubt knowing full well that Trump is addicted to the social media platform:

These days it’s getting harder and harder to determine who the bigger piece of shit is, Pence or Trump. We should probably impeach both of them just to be certain.
UPDATE: NBC reports Pence’s departure was indeed planned, meaning he wasted taxpayer money so he could make a dubious “point” about anthem protests.
