Depending on what day you asked him this week, Donald Trump either backed away from his hardline position on deporting 11 million people or he just changed the wording to better reflect his actual intent. But one thing is certain: Trump is attempting to take every side of the issue so he can try and fool voters into believing he agrees with them.
But on Fox News yesterday, Trump’s national spokesperson and paid liar Katrina Pierson had another take on the controversy over where her boss stands on the immigration debate. She was asked why Trump’s once clear-cut stance on the issue had suddenly become complicated. Pierson replied:
“Well it is not really complicated. Mr. Trump is simply trying to have a discussion about what needs to happen and what he wants to do. He has said many times in many rallies that he doesn’t want to be like Barack Obama and start signing executive orders, and he will have to work with Congress to get some of the more complex things done. But his overall message has not changed. There is no path to citizenship. There is no path to — those here illegally will have to leave.”
Yep, there it is in a nutshell: When in doubt, blame Obama.
Then Pierson added that the only thing that’s changed is the language the Orange Menace is using these days:
“He’s just not using those words anymore, and he does want to work with people, which is why he said that in order to get this process done.”
When Trump loses in November, I’m hoping and praying President Clinton will issue an executive order banning Katrina Pierson from the airwaves. The woman is so patently stupid and ridiculous she gives me a migraine.
