On Friday, Donald Trump declared that not only is the media his enemy, it’s the enemy of the American people:
The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 17, 2017
How ironic that a pathological liar who constantly engages in disinformation would accuse someone else of being involved in “fake news.” In Trumplandia–the topsy-turvy, mentally diseased world this madman resides inside–anyone who dares to disagree with him is the enemy of us all. It’s a tactic that would have delighted Hitler or Mao. But others on Twitter were not about to let Trump get away with such a noxious posting:

Here’s my own personal favorite, written by Thomas Jefferson, who had more talent, intelligence, and common sense in his little finger than Trump has in his entire rotten body:
“Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.”
