If Donald Trump proved that anyone can become president, then his daughter has proven you don’t need to know big words to get into the White House.
Complicit
A few weeks ago, Saturday Night Live did a sketch with Scarlett Johansson as Ivanka Trump. It was for a perfume called Complicit, during which it pointed out that Ivanka supports her father despite his repeated attacks on women.

Since then, people have been quick to call her out on her own hypocrisy. That backlash escalated after she claimed to not even know the meaning of complicit.
In a recent interview on CBS This Morning, Gayle King asked Ivanka if she felt it was fair to be called ‘complicit.’ Ivanka replied:
“I don’t know what it means to be complicit, but I hope time will prove I have done a good job and that my father’s Administration is the success I know it will be.”
Lucky for her, an online dictionary came to her rescue:

The trolling didn’t stop there, though.
Backlash
Standing by a man who boasts about sexual harassment is the polar opposite of being a feminist. One could even say that Donald is becoming the poster child for misogyny.
Yet Ivanka continues to support him.
Twitter reminded her that she is sticking by daddy despite his sexual advances towards her. There’s also that time she said he had nothing but respect for women, even though he admitted to the exact opposite.
"Where I disagree with my father, he knows it."

They’re even trolling her own tweets to remind her that she is no feminist.
COMPLICIT. Nothing your dad does advances women, Ivanka. WE SEE THRU YOU. On behalf of women everywhere SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR DAD

Perhaps she really does believe she’s a feminist who just happens to have a sexist father. In her defense, you can’t choose who your father is. You can choose not to support his misogyny, though.
