You may not have known it, but President Trump is an expert on the issue of healthcare in America. What, you doubt that? Yet despite the president’s mastery of the topic, the New York Times reports that after the meeting Trump held with Republican Senators Tuesday, one senator was less than impressed by the president:
“A senator who supports the bill left the meeting at the White House with a sense that the president did not have a grasp of some basic elements of the Senate plan — and seemed especially confused when a moderate Republican complained that opponents of the bill would cast it as a massive tax break for the wealthy.”
Trump didn’t take kindly to that report from the Times, so he went on Twitter and had a hissy fit:
The failing @nytimes writes false story after false story about me. They don't even call to verify the facts of a story. A Fake News Joke!

Some of the Fake News Media likes to say that I am not totally engaged in healthcare. Wrong, I know the subject well & want victory for U.S.

Since the president knows the subject well, former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau decided he’d provide a little online quiz for the Donald:
Tell us how Medicaid works

Name one essential health benefit covered by Obamacare
— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) June 28, 2017
Do you know the gold plans aren't made of real gold?
— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) June 28, 2017
Ok, name the difference between a premium and a deductible.
— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) June 28, 2017
What's the individual market?
— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) June 28, 2017
The president has yet to respond to any of Favreau’s questions. He’s probably on his cell phone frantically Googling to get the basics of American healthcare.
