Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire Fox News

foxnews

How one can consistently get the information wrong, this should lead a person to wonder. Is it poor research and poor fact checking, that generates “innocent” misinformation? Is it challenged reading skills and a lack of attention to detail that spills half truths across the airways? Or for the more cynical, is it financially vested interests with patent political agendas that cause lies to spill out of the mouths of Fox “news people”?

Bret Baier
The misquote, or reading error or misinformation supplied by Bret suggested that the Affordable Care Act did not cover low income Americans when it came to the expansion of Medicaid. The error ignored the fact that the poor who would lack coverage reside in Republican controlled states that have chosen not to take part in the expansion provide by Obamacare, thus preventing their poor the expanded coverage.

Chris Wallace
A lack of legitimate coverage of the news concerning how the Affordable Care Act changes the law was continued by another presenter of inaccurate information through Chris Wallace’s erroneous presentation that suggested that release of information on the demographics of new Obamacare signups as well as a claim that more people are now uninsured. Such lies are clearly political.

Sean Hannity
Another purveyor of “False Truth”, Hannity whimpered claiming that Obama lied and that people could not keep their present coverage. The re-arranger of facts also suggested that the Affordable Care Act is wildly unpopular, even though the latest polls indicate otherwise, showing strong support for the law that prevents insurance companies from refusing to cover people with pre-existing conditions, access to the health exchanges and high deductible plans among other things.
