Footage Of Pres. Obama Working Out At Warsaw Gym Surfaces (VIDEO)

Footage and photos showing President Obama working out in a hotel gym recently appeared in a Polish tabloid.

This footage was shot surreptitiously at a Marriott gym in Warsaw, Poland by another gym-goer. The Secret Service confirmed on Wednesday that it is indeed authentic footage and that the president was completely safe while working out. In typical fashion, the president didn’t see the need for special treatment and didn’t ask that the gym be cleared for added security. From Politico:

?This is no different than if the President visited a restaurant off the record and other diners took pictures of him,? Brian Leary, said a Secret Service spokesman.

Fox News host Greta Van Susteren was deeply concerned about security (read: she smelled another chance to show the current administration’s “incompetence”). She posted one of the photos on her blog with this caption:

?THIS IS SO DANGEROUS!!! What is WRONG WITH THE SECRET SERVICE???!!??? If Polish tabloids can get these pics (and video) with a camera lens, is there anyone who doesn’t think the President is vulnerable to someone armed??

Nice to know you care, Greta, but rest assured:

According to Leary, guests of the hotel were screened prior to entry and those who were in the gym when the president and his team of Secret Service agents arrived were not asked to leave the room. (Politico)

?Hotel guests were not asked to leave the gym during his off the record movement, nor were they asked to refrain from pictures,? Leary said.

Here is the video. I think our prez is awesome. He looks as sleepy as I do in the early morning hours.
