Gilmore Girls Is Back On Netflix — Here’s A Spoiler to Whet Your Appetite

If you haven’t already heard the colossal news, Gilmore Girls is returning in the form of a Netflix-only mini-series.

As TVLine reported, Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore continuation will consist of four 90-minute mini-movies written by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

The series will not start where the Gilmore Girls left off. It will restart in the present day — eight long (and painful) years since the series ended. According to sources, Lorelai, Rory, Emily & Co. will all be eight years older and wiser.

To give you a bit of a taste of the excitement to come, sources have revealed that most or all of Rory’s past suitors would be making it on the stage. That’s right, Logan, Jess, and Dean may all be making appearances in the four Netflix mini-movies.

If you always wished that Rory had ended up with one or the other of these handsome young men, then perhaps you lost hope too early. A lot can happen in four installments of 90 minutes.

We all have way more questions about what went down after the season finale eight years ago. Will Paris and Doyle be the impressive power couple we expected them to be? Will Luke and Lorelai finally stop breaking up and just be happy together? Will Rory have started the journalism career she’d always dreamed of?

There are so many tantalizing possibilities.

To say the least, fans are all starting to gossip and think up new and startling conclusions to the story-lines left unfinished at the series finale.

If anything, the “Gilmore Girls” revival will finally give fans some much-needed closure. Thanks Netflix!
