Have you ever seen someone parked so badly that you had to dedicate 5 minutes of your life writing a note letting them know how terrible a driver they are? Well if you have, you could end up on Daniel Mehmet’s Instagram account.
Mehmet has created an Instagram account which documents all the angry notes people leave on parked cars that he comes across.
Mehmet lives in Bristol, England. He claims that the mix of affluent homeowners and students in the town produces excellent results when it comes to parking.
“I love how sarcastic the note-leavers are,” said Mehmet, when we asked about why he started taking photos of the sometime explicit messages.
“The vast majority start and end with ‘please’ and ‘thank you,’ but sandwich some pretty colourful language between. Second, being a writer, I love the awful spelling, punctuation and grammar. And third, coming from angry London to chilled-out Bristol, it was such a relief to discover all this lovely, lovely rage.”
This is definitely one of the more interesting hobbies I’ve ever come across, that’s for sure.
