Oh, that silly Donald Trump!
He really truly believes that he owns everything in the world. Even people!
First he referred to someone as “my African American” at one of his rallies. As if he was the plantation owner…..
Now RawStory is reporting that Trump thinks he owns the Jews, too.
For some twisted reason, Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) believes that Donald Trump is a huge supporter of religious liberty. She was speaking recently to a Christian radio host. She was urging evangelical voters to support Trump. Bachmann told them that Trump has a good 1950s sensibility.
She said:
“He gets and understands religious liberty. He even said… ‘When I was growing up everybody said Merry Christmas. Even my Jews would say Merry Christmas.’”
Trump thinks he owns himself some Jews.
What the heck?
Trump has decided that he needs to reach out to the religious right, so he went to his magical bag of nuts and pulled out Michele Bachmann. He has appointed her as his advisor on evangelical issues.

According to Bachmann and the rest of the right wing nut cluster, religious liberty means being allowed to discriminate against gays based on your religious beliefs. Religious liberty means supporting a fundamentalist Christian view of our country.
So Bachmann wants to convince evangelicals that Trump is their guy. They should ignore his multiple marriages, his admitted adultery, the child born out of wedlock. No need to fret about his promise to kill the families of suspected terrorists.
It’s just fine and dandy that Donald Trump believes he owns African Americans and Jews.
None of that is a problem. After all, in her interview Bachmann said:
“When it comes down to it, Trump may have been the only candidate who could actually defeat Hillary. What I kept thinking to, Jan, was the Book of Daniel, and the Book of the Daniel, the essence of the book, was that the most high God lifts up who he will and takes down who he will.”
Pretty clever, Michele. If you support this guy and he ends up bringing us to the brink of destruction, it won’t be your fault, will it? You can just blame God.
